After a disastrous first date, the only elements Holly Berenson (Katherine Heigl) and Eric Messer (Josh Duhamel) have in popular are mutual dislike and their love for their goddaughter, Sophie. When they unexpectedly turn into her caretakers, Holly and Eric have to put aside their differences and understand to work together for ones sake from the child. Juggling competing task and social commitments, Holly and Eric research well-liked ground whilst living under the exact same roof.
